Following our recent release of the new Product List Experience, comes our latest update: the new Customer Management Experience.

The all-new “Purchased from vendor” filter on the customer list page.

The new Customer Management Experience is the next step in our journey of building the best point of sale system for independent retailers and boutiques.

Watch Elliot demonstrate how you can apply these tools in your business, and read below for a full breakdown of everything that’s included in this release.

Customers page facelift

We brought over the same improved page experience from the products list to the new customers page. This includes:

  • Sticky pages and filtering: Filter, page, and view customers without losing your place in the list.
  • Column sorting: You can now sort your customers by order count, total spent, and last order date.
  • Keyboard navigation and shortcuts: Quickly navigate your customer list using only your keyboard.
  • Improved table layout: It looks and works better on mobile devices. No more horizontal scrolling!
  • A new “count” metric: Quickly see the total number of customers in a group or filter.
  • Bulk actions: Starting with bulk deletion, and more to come soon!

New customer filters

We’ve added four new filters to the customer list page:

  • Filter by order count
  • Filter by total spend
  • Filter by last order date
  • Filter by purchases from a vendor

With the exception of the “last order date” filter, each of these can be modified with an additional date filter. This powerful combination gives you totally new ways to find customer segments. Want to see all customers who purchased from the brand “Z Supply” in the last 90 days? That’s possible. Or how about filtering to customers with more than 10 orders who haven’t shopped in the last year? Also possible. Go give these a try in your account today!

New “Purchased items” list

The new “Purchased items” list on the customer detail page shows you every recent item the customer has purchased or returned. It’s a comprehensive view of each customer’s purchase history and habits. We hope you love it.

What’s next

This is the first in a series of updates focused on customer relationship management that we’ll be releasing over the coming weeks and months. Our goal with these updates is to bring your customers front and center in new and meaningful ways, allowing you to connect and build relationships on a whole new level. Stay tuned!
